Dr Dipak Banarsi Dass is a Consultant Otorhinolaryngologist and has worked in Kuala Lumpur Hospital and University Hospital for the past 18 years in different disciplines. He obtained his MBBS from the University of Mysore, India, in 1994. He then commenced specialist training in Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Malaya from 2001-2005 and was subsequently awarded the Masters in Otorhinolayngology (MS ORL HNS). He then returned to Kuala Lumpur Hospital as a Specialist in 2005.
He is involved as a speaker In International and local seminars and forums. He is also involved in training, teaching and gazetting junior doctors interested in Otorhinolaryngology. Dr Dipak underwent fellowship training in Rhinology in 2007 at Kuala Lumpur Hospital. In 2009, he went to Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore as a Rhinology Fellow. During his training there for a year, he gained valuable experience in Rhinoplasty and Reconstructive Surgery, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery and Management Of Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea.
He has also published in peer reviewed journals both locally and internationally.
