Biography

Peter Andrews BSc (Hons), FRCS (ORL-HNS) is a Consultant Rhinologist and Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgeon at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital (RNTNE) and Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College London (UCL). He also works at the Whittington Hospital, London and is an Honorary Consultant at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, London. He trained at UCH and Middlesex Medical School and qualified in 1993. He received his Specialist Higher Surgical Training in the North Thames Deanery which included the RNTNE Hospital. He is a Fellow of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS) and was awarded the EAFPS Joseph Travelling Fellowship in 2005 and trained and worked at the Academic Medical Centre, Amsterdam. His areas of interest include nasal plastic surgery, nasal airway reconstruction, facial
reanimation surgery and anterior skull base surgery. His research interests include nerve regeneration and it’s applications in facial reanimation and anosmia.
